Me
Born
and brought up in India, I now call Singapore home.
Born on a lazy Sunday evening in the March of 1975, I have
always had an inclination towards the artistic side of life.
Although I cannot draw, sketch, sing or dance to save my
life, I surely can write! And I can think for hours and
hours on end! Don’t even get me started on day dreaming!
Having seen 32 summers in New Delhi, India (and believe
me, they are a scorchin’!), I have had varied professional
experience in various positions. From Administration to
Human Resources to Sales to Marketing to Communications
to Retail to Customer Service to independently managing
someone else’s business, I have done it all in my
14+ years of work!
Writing
and Creativity has always been a passion with me.
I
am what they call a Typical Piscean. The following lines
sum me up perfectly:

I
am married and have 2 lovely kids: Kushaan,
my 6 year old boy and Saanchi, my newborn
princess.
As
a Communications Manager in my previous job stint at one
of India’s leading call centre (BPO), I was involved
in many creative projects. Taking out a monthly newsletter,
organizing Events on-site and off-site, developing Rewards
and Recognition programs under the Employer-Employee relations
umbrella and writing content for our local Intranet gave
me a lot of creative fulfillment. That feeling gets enriched
and enhanced when most of your 4000 odd colleagues know
and recognize you.
One
of my major contributions at this BPO, other than my write-ups
and Corporate Communication requirements, was that of producing
Creative PowerPoint Slides, almost on demand! I have duplicated
on this site, a few of the 100s of slides that I made there.
Although
my current profile of an International Sales and Marketing
Manager in Singapore may not be as creatively challenging,
there are ample opportunities to think out of the box and
take unorthodox decisions.
Oh
and did I mention, I am a complete foodie! I just love to
eat and try out new cuisines. Singapore has absolutely no
dearth of eating joints and I just go crazy gorging on local
delights such as the ubiquitous Chicken Rice, Biryani, Laksa,
Sashimi, DimSums, Roti Prata, Mutton Rendang, Korean BBQ
etc! And the pleasure of having freshly bar-be-qued Mutton
Satay with chilled Tiger Beer is just AMAZING and UNDESCRIBABLE!!

This Site
A
few days back, a friend asked me the purpose of this site.
The friend wanted to know exactly what do I expect this
website to do for me.
My
honest answer: I don’t know!
Seriously,
I have no idea why and for what am I creating this site.
I guess it is just to satisfy my creative urges and to see
my name on Google!
What
I am going to do on this site is that I will list what I
have done in my life so far, what am I planning to do in
future and what I like, be it food or books or movies.
Occasionally,
I will try to touch on some political issues and issues
that matter all of us in day to day life. But more often
than not, I stay AWAY from all that!
And
most importantly, I would invite a very good friend, a Content
Developer and Trainer, to contribute a few lines on one
important professionally enriching pointer. Some of the
